Sheriff Candidates Gualtieri, Swope Live On Opposite Sides Of Palm Harbor

You probably know that Bob Gualtieri and Scott Swope are candidates for Pinellas County Sheriff. But, did you know both candidates live right here in Palm Harbor?

Democrat Scott Swope lives on the western side of Palm Harbor on Indian Bluff Island; Republican Bob Gualtieri lives on the eastern side of Palm Harbor in East Lake.

Living in the same community is not all that these candidates have in common. Both men have also been putting in long hours working at their current jobs, raising their families and campaigning. They've each participated in at least 15 forums or debates leading up to next Tuesday's election, and that's not counting the many other campaign appearances.

Both candidates for sheriff took some time from their busy schedules to tell us about their families, their busy campaigns and what they like about living in Palm Harbor.
