Witchstock 2014 on November 1st Features New Contest Category: Best Medical Marijuana Costume!

A new category in the 8th Annual Witchstock Adult Costume Contest is: Best Medical Marijuana Costume. This annual Halloween-themed event, Witchstock 2014… where Woodstock & Halloween meet… happens on Saturday, November 1st, 2014 from 3 pm to Midnight at The Witch’s Brew, 1219 Florida Avenue, Palm Harbor, Florida. Witchstock 2014 will feature three costume contests which get bigger every year: a Pet Costume Contest at 3:30 pm; a Kids Costume Contest at 5 pm and an Adult Costume Contest at 9 pm featuring Sexiest Costume and Best Medical Marijuana Costume categories in addition to 1st & 2nd Place. Winners will receive customized Witchstock trophies and prizes.

The Adult Costume Contest winners will receive cash prizes of $100, $75 & $50 for 1st & 2nd Place and Sexiest Costume. The prize for “Best Medical Marijuana Costume” is a customized Trophy and a Magical Butter botanical extractor, a $175 value. The Pet Costume Contest is sponsored by Royal Pets Market & Resort who is providing a gift basket and Dr. Sandra Springer, VMD who is providing a Holistic Vet consultation. There is no entry fee and participants are encouraged to arrive at least a half hour prior to contest to register. Applications may be downloaded from www.Witchstock.com.

Costumed partygoers will enjoy the musical aspect of Witchstock with performances by two musical acts: Higher Tides, an acoustic male duo, will play songs from the 60s to get you in the Woodstock frame of mind at 6:00 pm. Finally, The Defendants will rock the house from 7:30 pm till Midnight.

The event is hosted by The Witch’s Brew, a coffee & ice cream shoppe in Historic Downtown Palm Harbor and co-sponsored by the Sunrise Irrigation, Celestial Circle, VPN Studios, Photos by Lil, Roberts Printing, Holistic Center for Vibrant Health, Magic Hat Brewery, Dr. Sandy Springer, VMD, MagicalButter.com, Royal Pets Market & Resort, Blue Bell Ice Cream, Angry Orchard Cider & Joe’s Oat Patties. Everyone, from parents with small children to the family dog, is invited to this FREE costume-oriented event which includes vendors as well.

The Witch’s Brew, a magickally-themed café offering fair-trade organic coffee, premium ice cream, and spirits (beer & wine) opened June 5th, 2007. This is the eighth Witchstock event hosted by The Witch’s Brew since it opened. A limited number of 10’x10’ vendor spaces are available to rent for $50 during the event.
