From winter break camps to consumer and safety tips to fun things to do with the whole family, our Winter Holiday Guide will lighten your load and brighten your spirits.

• Miami-Dade Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.
• Solid Waste Management will not collect trash on Dec. 24. Trash will be collected as scheduled on Dec. 31.
• Miami-Dade Public Libraries will be closed Friday, Dec. 24, Saturday, Dec. 25, Friday, Jan. 1 and Saturday, Jan. 2.
• Miami-Dade Parks will remain open.

• Historic Holiday Décor at Deering EstateEnjoy the beautiful displays of the Historic Holiday Décor "Gilded Age" on display through Jan. 6 at the Deering Estate.
• Zoo Lights MiamiGet into the holiday spirit by roaming through Zoo Miami during Zoo Lights Miami hosted on select night. Choose a themed night to join in the fun with the whole family.
