SPCA Tampa Bay sends out a heartfelt holiday greeting. St. Pete Beach Fit Club hosts an open house. Plus there's a lot of entertainment at the bars.

1.) SPCA Tampa Bay has a big job: finding homes for deserving pups and cats that are so eager to give but just need someone to adopt them. The nonprofit posted to YouTube a fetching video from our four-legged friends. Grab a tissue. Take a gander. What the heck? Bring home a pup for Christmas.

2.) St. Pete Beach Fit Club hosts a free open house tonight at 6:30 p.m. Visitors can meet the team, learn about workouts and maybe win a prize, just for showing up! The club is at 7701 Boca Ciega Drive. Here's how the club describes itself: "The St. Pete Beach Fit Club is organized and operated by a group of P90X, Insanity, and TurboFire Enthusiasts /Beachbody Fitness Coaches. Our goal is to help YOU get in the best shape of your life by providing the ultimate Training Workouts to the community for FREE!" Check them out.

If you're already making plans for the weekend, consider the Reggae Fest at Gator's Cafe on Sunday, from 1-9 p.m. Isus, VA Rose Band, Funky Seeds, Bambooda, Leaf, Oceanstone, Shoeless Soul, Noah Broe & The Groove Co. are among the musicians performing at the all-da fest.
