Are the Beaches Safe?
With a number two drownings occurring on the beaches lately, we want to know if the beaches are safe?

Recently, two people have drowned in Gulf off of Pass-A-Grille. One of the drownings was a seven-year-old child.
We want to hear from you if you think the beaches are safe?
All the beaches are marked clearly with swim at your own risk signs, but is that warning enough? With rip currents actively occurring, swimming at the beach can be risky in some aspects.

Pinellas County currently only has lifeguards in certain areas of the state park beaches, like Fort De Soto and Sand Key, leaving much of the beach areas that are visited umanned.
