Here is a visual of how the Republicans and Democrats are moving around. More Democrats have changed than Republicans, and people who had No Party Affiliation(NPA) seem to switching to Republican.
- About this time in the voting process, the candidates begin to wonder who changed their party affiliation and how may the changes impact the primary?
From the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections, there are about:
- 219,980 registered Republicans,
- 225,490 registered Democrats
- 155,880 registered as others.
Compared to the last presidential primary, the volume of all party changes has decreased from 2,547 in 2007 to 1,922 in 2010.
