Dog Tragedies and Blessings

: Late last week the  received a call from a local fishing guide with a gruesome discovery. A deceased dog was found in the gulf off of Treasure Island weighted down by a concrete block. The dog was visible because the block had drifted into a shallow area, according to the SPCA Web site.

:  Patch took the Green Machine (that's our Patch RV) to the Pinellas County Animal Services to help promote some of the animals that need new homes.

: Do you see a dog in the video that you love? Patch is at Pinellas County Animal Services today to help raise awareness about animal adoption and to show folks some of the wonderful dogs and cats just waiting for their forever home.

: Imagine watching a movie, visiting family or going home while on the clock. Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri fired three deputies and one sergeant and suspended two more deputies for not working.
