Bonfire on the Beach in Pass-A-Grille

Pass-A-Grille likes to kick off the holiday season with some hot entertainment – literally.

Pass-A-Grille will be holding its yearly bonfire Thursday with the fire lit at 7 p.m., at the end of 8th Avenue and Gulf Way.

Keeping with true holiday fashion, there'll be hot chocolate and cider for those who come to check out the fun, courtesy of .

The merriment includes caroling around the bonfire, and Santa is expected to drop by.

In addition, the shops on 8th Avenue will be staying open late to accommodate those folks who want to shorten their shopping list while at the event.

The event is free and attendees are encouraged to bring along cookies to share with friends.
