Five Things on the Beach: Eats with Santa

1.) and he's coming to the beach to feast with the kids. Santa will be at the St. Pete Beach Rec Center today at 9:30 a.m. to enjoy a meal with the children of St. Pete Beach. Kids enrolled in the Holiday Kid's Camp are already attending. Pre-registration is required for the event.

2.) Floridian film at it's finest will be at the library today. The St. Pete Beach Library will be showing , a 40's noir classic with Humphrey Bogart, Edward G. Robinson and Lauren Bacall. The movie starts at 3 p.m.

3.) Get some laughs on the sand! will be at the Coconut's Comedy Club tonight at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 and there's a two drink minimum at the bar and reservations are requested.

4.) Today is the Winter Solstice! It's the day when axial tilt of the polar hemisphere is the furthest away it can be from the sun. Basically, it means today is the day with shortest time of sun and longest time of night.

5.) Here's your Wednesday Forecast. It's going to be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s and no chance of rain.
