Five Things on the Beach: Help the Animals

'Tis the season to help out the less fortunate. That includes our four-legged friends.

1.) It's important to remember that holidays can be lonely for pets too. This year there are hundreds of animals who will be stuck in a shelter for the holidays. If you feel as though your home would be a good environment, go and see if you give a pet, , a home for the Christmas. Both the pups featured in the photo already have a home and are spoiled rotten by my wife.

2.) After Christmas is over with, what do you plan to do for New Year's Eve? If you have kids and don't have any ideas, that you may like.

3.) A lot of people may have a more relaxed work schedule this week. That means it's a great time to go and see a local concert. You can go throw a couple back and see Spy vs. Spy at Jimmy B's tonight at 7:30 p.m.
