5 Things on the Beach: Lighted Boats

1.)  The water will illuminated tonight in Madeira Beach. will be going on tonight at 6 p.m. The boats will be meeting around the Tom Stuart Causeway if you want an early start.

2.) Got kids on Santa's "nice" list? Take them to see Santa at at the Treasure Island Community Center. The event starts at 1 p.m., and there will be crafts and sweets for the kids.

3.) If you want to have a date night, why not take in dinner and a show? St. Petersburg Nights is holding the , with performers from Meow Factor and the Bow Wow Band. The show is $50 and includes dinner. Make sure to make reservations.

4.) It's the last weekend before Christmas, so you better finish shopping. It's a great time to hit up Corey Avenue, downtown Pass-A-Grille and John's Pass for great local gifts that you can send to your chillier family members up north.
