Five Things on the Beach: Sweet Charity

You can build a gingerbread house to help out the Red Cross, and your sweet tooth.

1.) Got a hankering for holiday sweets and want to help out? The Don Cesar will be hosting a today at 10:30 a.m. to benefit the Red Cross. Tickets include a pre-fabricated gingerbread house, icing and candies for decorating. There also will be a champagne reception and prizes.

2.) It's a good night to see some exotic dancing, like dancing originating in another country exotic. Check out the  show at   tonight at 8 p.m. to see the wild dancing of the girls of Hip Expressions.

3.) Don't laugh at Santa Claus, kids. Richard Schulz will be performing the Ogden Nash poem, today at 4 p.m.  at the St. Pete Beach Library. It's recommended for children five and up.

4.) Get out your smoothest suit and get ready for a night of cool jazz. The Bilmar Beach Resort is having come out tonight at 7 p.m. for a little bit of Dixieland on the water.

5.) Here's your Thursday Forecast. It'll be partly cloudy with highs in the mid 70s and no chance of rain.
