: A 44-years-old suspect was Wednesday and charged with sexual battery on a minor in St. Pete Beach, according to an article on ABC Action News. Guillermo Trejos is accused of performing sexual acts on the victim. Police say that the child was asleep on the beach at the time of the incident.

: New Year's Eve is not just any night of the year. It is the last night of the year – the time to say goodbye to 2011 and ring in 2012. If having a good time is on your agenda, the beaches is the place to go. From sipping tropical drinks to feeling the sand between your toes to gazing at the gorgeous sea, pony up to one of the bars or restaurants on the beach for a night to remember. 

: Smoke on the beach? You better take care of your butts or you could be hit with a $500 fine. Indian Rocks Beach is considering a $500 fine for littering the beach with a cigarette butt, according to the Belleair Bee.
