Florida Woman Stabs Roommate In Fight Over Stimulus Check: Police
A Pinellas Park woman was arrested after being accused of stabbing her roommate during a fight over her federal stimulus check.

PINELLAS PARK, FL — A Pinellas Park woman was arrested after Pinellas Park police said she repeatedly stabbed her roommate during an argument over $60 of her federal stimulus money.
At 9:40 a.m. Tuesday, Pinellas Park police were called to 8043 55th St. N., Pinellas Park, and found Dale Neary, 77, sitting in his backyard after being stabbed in the upper body multiple times.
He told police that his roommate, Samantha Andrea Clark, 46, became enraged during an argument about her stimulus check, grabbed a steak knife and began stabbing Neary.

Neary said he attempted to defend himself by striking Clark with an aluminum pipe, but Clark continued to attack Neary with the knife stabbing him several more times before dropping the knife and fleeing the home.
Clark was found by police several blocks away. Police said she seemed to be under the influence of drugs. Police took her to the hospital for observation. She's been charged with attempted murder.

Neary was taken to the hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. He remains hospitalized with serious injuries but is expected to recover.
