Fly from the Sanctuary

The Seabird Sanctuary will be having a mass bird release this Thursday.

The Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary plays an important role on the beaches by rehabilitating many of the injured seabirds.

There comes a time that many of them will have to go from the Sanctuary though.

During the release, the rehabilitated birds that have been under the care of the doctors and volunteers at the Sanctuary will take the skies and will be free to fly wherever they choose.

The bird release is the second to be occuring this week. The first took place at Fort De Soto on Monday, where 60 pelicans were released.
