Here Comes the Hurricane

The Hurricane is no hidden gem. Many people know and love it. It's one of the top locations to go to on the beach and there's a good reason why.

1)    The top deck view. The third deck is where it's at if you just want to sit and lazily sip on a cocktail. The third floor deck stands as one of the best places to watch the sunset on the beach.

2)    The atmosphere. I mean the atmosphere literally. Depending on the weather and how nice it is, the third deck bar at the Hurricane can be extremely memorable. It may not seem like much, but being in the open air of the beach and up three stories makes a huge difference.

3)    The food. One of the things the Hurricane is well known for is the their seafood. With amazing seafood dishes like the grouper sandwich and a fantastic crab melt, the Hurricane should be enjoyed with food.

4)    The drinks. If you want beach drinks, this is the place. The Hurricane margarita is massive and delicious and the Rum Runners are amazing. Just make sure to set a designated driver.

5)    The surrounding beach. One of the coolest things about the Hurricane is the fact that Pass-A-Grill Beach is right across the road. You can spend the day walking one of the prettiest beaches in the state, and spend the evening having a drink watching the water.

Their hours are Sunday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 7 a.m. to midnight
