Hands Across the Sand is an organized event in which hundreds of people come together and join hands to show affection for our environment.
Hands Across the Sand is a public display for clean energy, and will going on at different locations on the beaches on Aug. 4th.

At noon, people on the beaches will join up hands on the shoreline to make a public stand against off-shore drilling and show their support for clean energy initiatives.
There are two events organized for the day.

- One is at Indian Rocks Beach between 17th and 18th Avenues.
- The other is behind the Tradewinds in St. Pete Beach.
