Tropical Storm Debby blew into St. Pete Beach and other Gulf communities, dumping rain, flooding streets and creating a big mess. The storm's not done with us yet, with more rain in the forecast for Monday.

  1. : More than 6,000 homes across Pinellas County lost power today, but the utility company was working hard to get everyone back on the grid.
  2. Debby Closes Classes in Pinellas County: No summer school Monday for students in the Pinellas County School District, though staff reports for work as usual.
  3. : A tornado was spotted at Fort DeSoto Park Sunday night. The Tornado Watch in Pinellas County and across Tampa Bay is extended until 5 a.m. Monday.
  4. Storm Closes I-275 South of Bayway: Don't even try to cross the Skyway bridge tonight. It's shut down due to wind gusts. The interstate is closed from the Pinellas Bayway to the bridge.
  5. Dogs Swept Into Overflowing Culvert: Robert Montgomery jumped into a culvert near Tropicana Field to rescue one of his dogs, who had fallen into the rushing waters. Then all hell broke loose.
