MTV Filming New Show on the Beaches

While everyone was concerned with Selena Gomez and the cast of 'Spring Breakers' on the beach, MTV was also working on a new show on the beaches.

MTV's Dream Date Challenge is filming in the beach areas and has already been put in 25 days of shooting, according to an article from cvbeat.com.

The show will feature couples performing date acitivities that feature popular attractions, like kayaking and walking on the beach, while vying for the date of their dreams.

Filming has taken place in St. Pete Beach, Indian Rocks Beach, Redington Shores and Clearwater so far.

The crew began filming in April and has put in 25 days of shooting since then and have spent over $500,000 in lodging and other expenses.
