Pass-a-Grille Dark After Tornado
Progress Energy shuts off power to the coastal community, after a tornado rips the roof off a marina and damages some homes.
Power has been shut off in Pass-a-Grille tonight, after a tornado ripped off the Pass-a-Grille Marina roof and affected homes on Pass-a-Grille Way, according to WTSP-Ch. 10 News. No injuries are reported, though there is damage to buildings, including to the Coronado Apartments. Residents reported seeing funnel cloud late Sunday afternoon. Power was shut off because of the risk of downed power lines.
