The Beaches of Pinellas are vying to become the Best of the Best Restored Beaches poll from the American Shore and Beach Preservation Association.
Pinellas County Beaches are competing against past winners of the Best Restored Beach Award to become the best of the best and needs your vote.
Pinellas County as a whole is listed in the category "Urban Beaches."
Vote for the Pinellas Beaches on the ASBPA website on your computer and smartphone.. You can cast a vote once every 24 hours through April 27.

The votes are automatically tallied, so you can see where Pinellas County Beaches rank in the standings each day. Pinellas is vying for top honors with 23 other restored beaches, including 11 in Florida.
Not only are the beaches in Pinellas popular with residents and tourists for recreational use, it provides coastal storm protection for upland roads. It also serves as a nesting location for shorebirds and sea turtles.
