Riding Bikes and Fireworks: The Top New Year's Party

What was your best New Year's Eve Party?

While the holiday season rages on, it’s important to remember about the last holiday of the year (or the first, depending on how you look at it).

New Year’s Eve is one of the best times to cut loose. Everyone has just gone through the stress of gift giving and family. New Year’s Eve comes around and it’s time to have a little fun.

We’ve all had one party that tops them all. The one New Year’s Eve that will never be forgotten. That’s what we want to know this week on Patch. What was the best New Year’s you ever had?

Was it because you had the best New Year’s kiss or did everything just fall harmoniously together? Whatever the reason, we want to hear about your all-time top New Year’s Eve.

Mine was definitely the New Year’s of 2005. I spent my New Year’s Eve with a very good friend of mine at my parent’s house. My mom and dad were away on a small vacation and I was house sitting. I invited my friend over and we lit fireworks all night. When the ball was about to drop, we dressed up in wild clothing and rode bicycles around the neighborhood wishing everyone a happy new year.

While mine was a small party of two people, your experience may be something bigger. Whatever it is, let us know what it was and why it was the best in the comments.
