Selena Gomez at Corey Avenue Today

2:30 p.m.: Extras are arriving on the set for the filming of "Spring Breakers," on Corey Avenue. The cast and crew are here today to film, at the corner of Corey and Boca Ciega. Crowds are starting to form. No sign of Selena yet.

ORIGINAL: Everyone eagerly hoping to see Selena Gomez on the beach will finally be rewarded.

The upcoming beach film starring Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens and James Franco, ''Spring Breakers,'' will finally be hitting St. Pete Beach later today, according the St. Pete Beach City Hall.

The cast and crew will be out in the Corey Avenue area filming from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.

The boundaries for filming were set at the areas between 72nd and 75th Avene and Boca Ciega Drive to Gulf Boulevard.

This area is mainly the Corey Avenue downtown area. 

While some areas may be off-limit during filming, there are no expected lengthened closures of businesses.
