St. Pete Beach Library Offers Summer Programs for Kids of All Ages

Parents don't need to travel far to find special summer reading programs for kids, from toddlers to teens and all ages in between.

The St. Pete Beach Library has a treasure trove of summer reading programs for children, from Mother Goose Time for the littlest ones to the Teen Scene, from ages 13 and up.

The library's summer reading program runs through August. Here's a look at the activities:

Mother Goose Time for ages 3 and under: It inclues story time, coloring and play activities. Every Thursday at 11 a.m. through Aug. 30.

Dolphin Club for ages 3-5: Every Wednesday at 2 p.m. through Aug. 15.

Beach Buddies, ages 6-9: Fridays, 4 p.m., through Aug. 17.

Tucker Time for Pre-Readers and Readers: Practicing reading-aloud skills. Thursdays, 4 p.m.

101112 Club: 4 p.m. Wednesdays, for ages 10-12. Through Aug. 15.

Teen Scene, Ages 13-Up: 2 p.m., Wednesdays. Through Aug. 13.
