The Most Special Valentine's Day

It's a little cliche, but Valentine's is really a special day. Beyond the Hallmark nature of it, it's a day to spend time with and appreciate your special loved one.

Admittedly, we've all probably had some bad Valentine's Days (I was even dumped by a girlfriend on one), but let's focus on the good times for today.

We hear at Patch want to know what the most special Valentine's Day you've ever had was. No matter the reason, we want to know why that particular one has stuck for you.

The most special for me was the first one I had with my now wife. Although I love her very much, I get hit hard from her on Valentine's Day. See, it's not only a day of romance for us, it's also her birthday. 

For the first year, she wanted a very special birthday party. She wanted ice cream, a cookout and my whole family in attendance. Somehow, I managed to get everyone to give up the Valentine's afternoon to help me celebrate her birthday. It was great having everyone there to celebrate and it really cemented her as a new part of the family.
