Steve Bernstein and Theresa Gallion honored for labor and employment work
TAMPA (August 15, 2013) – Two partners in the Tampa office of Fisher & Phillips LLP have been selected by their peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America 2014® (Copyright 2013 by Woodward/White, Inc., of Aiken, S.C.). For more than 20 years, Steve Bernstein has maintained a traditional labor practice, representing employers throughout the United States. In addition, he has continuously dedicated himself to advising clients on union-related matters and compliance with the NLRA, the WARN Act, USERRA, FMLA and the ADA. Contributing to his success, he places an emphasis on implementing preventive employee relations programs that include supervisory training and effective human resources policies and procedures.

With more than 30 years of practice as a labor and employment attorney, Theresa Gallion represents clients in a wide variety of industries, with particular emphasis on hospitality, healthcare, retail and telecommunications. As one of the firm's most experienced trial lawyers, she has successfully tried more than 40 jury trials in employment cases. A substantial portion of her practice is devoted to management training on such topics as equal employment opportunity, diversity, and management skills.
Both partners have been selected for the honor in previous years. Gallion has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America since 2006. It is the third year that Bernstein is listed.
