Your Favorite Gift: A New Ring

It's time to breathe a sigh of relief. Christmas is over and done with!

All that remains is a heap of leftovers, torn wrapping paper, warm memories and, of course, whatever presents you got.

We at Patch want to know what your favorite gift you received was this year. Was it a sentimental gift that touched you? Did your loved ones fork over dough to get you a shiny new piece of technology? Whatever it is, we want to know what it was!

My gift was something that was needed from my wife. Even though we've been married for a little over a year now, I've barely worn my wedding ring. The reason being is that my ring made my finger chafe and break out. After I would wear it for a day, my ring finger would have a ring of red where my skin was literally tearing off. In addition, the ring deformed from a circle into an oval.

This year, my wife found me a new ring. She got one made of stainless steel. Granted, it's not the most precious of metals, but it's extremely comfortable to wear. I can now proudly show off that I'm married.
