• Obituaries 09.24.26 (plantcityobserver.com) — Several Plant City families are mourning loved ones this week, including longtime residents Adolph "Biz" Powell, Danny Rae Morris, Barbara "Bobbie" McGriff, and Stephen Ross Mitchell, whose visitation and funeral take place today at Haught Funeral Home on Dr. MLK Jr. Blvd. The community also remembers Don Michael "Mike" Shaffer, who spent his retirement years in Plant City and was deeply involved in advocacy for people with hearing loss.
