Plant City Police Recover Car Involved In Fatal Hit-And-Run Crash
Plant City Police have located the vehicle they believe killed a 21-year--old man who was walking along State Road 574 with two friends.

PLANT CITY, FL -- Plant City Police have located the vehicle they believe killed a 21-year--old man who was walking along State Road 574 with two friends at 10:55 p.m. Dec. 2.
Miguel A. Hernandez Jr. of Plant City and two friends, ages 21 and 20, were walking just east of Fuego Bar & Grille, 4103 W. State Road 574 in Plant City, when they were struck by a vehicle traveling east on SR 574. The vehicle then fled (See related story). Hernandez died at the scene.
After an extensive search and tips from the community, on Dec. 6 the Plant City Police recovered a pearl white metallic 2007 Cadillac Escalade that matches the description of the vehicle that struck the men. It's now being processed for evidence.

However, the police do not have the owner of the SUV in custody. Criminal charges are pending.
Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay is offering a reward of up to $3,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect in this case.
