Video shows Pompano Beach firefighters rescue ducklings trapped in storm drain (local10.com) ā Pompano Beach Fire Rescue crews jumped into action Saturday night to save about a dozen ducklings that had fallen into a storm drain, then watched them reunite with their anxious mother. After callers reported the distressed duck, firefighters lifted the drain cover, carefully netted each duckling to safety, and shared the heartwarming video with Local 10 viewers.

3. āCake' Discovery in Pompano Beach Pot Bust Earns Man Trip to Jail (tapinto.net) ā A late-night traffic stop in Pompano Beach over an illegal windshield tint led deputies to seize about 75 grams of marijuana, packaging materials, and cash from an 18-year-old driver. Broward Sheriffās Office records say the Lauderhill man admitted he intended to sell the cannabis and was booked on drug charges before posting bond.
