The case, based on a Port St. Lucie Police Department affidavit, underscores an ongoing local investigation into alleged abuse within a family setting.

Two men charged with leaving the scene of a crash, Florida police say (tcpalm.com) — Port St. Lucie police arrested two men in separate hit-and-run cases on city roads, including one crash that seriously injured a teen on an e-bike. Both suspects were booked into St. Lucie County Jail on charges related to leaving crash scenes, with one case near Southwest Roma and Lorenzo and another near Southwest Becker Road and Hallmark Street.
