• Beachgoers say man cut up sharks, left remains on Redington Beach two weeks in a row (fox13news.com) — Residents and visitors at Redington Beach and nearby Redington Shores say they twice saw a man mutilate sharks, leaving remains on the sand or dumping pieces offshore, raising safety and animal welfare concerns. Florida Fish and Wildlife officers are now investigating, while a local charter captain stresses ethical shark fishing and proper disposal to avoid endangering swimmers and harming anglers' reputations.
