Is Learning a New Language One of Your New Year’s Resolutions? Make That Resolution a Reality For Free Through the Library.

Learning a new language can be easy and fun with Mango languages that is available through the library.

Learning a new language with Mango Languages is free for all PPLC library card holders, and offers a fast and convenient way to meet your language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions.  Intertwined with the phrases and vocabulary lessons are great tidbits about the culture of the country or countries where the language is spoken.  Information taught in one lesson is built upon in subsequent lessons, which makes it easy to practice and refresh your skills.

There are more than 40 foreign language courses available and 16 English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.  Have you ever wanted to experience the adventure of Homer’s Odyssey in its original Ancient Greek or the Old Testament in Biblical Hebrew?  Mango Languages now offers access to scholarly and religious languages, such as Latin, Biblical Hebrew, Ancient Greek and Koine Greek.
