It’s raining, it’s pouring… Why not read a Tumblebook? E-Books for Kids
The Safety Harbor Public Library has Tumblebooks, a website of e-books, puzzles, games, that helps kids learn to read and build vocabulary in a fun filled format.
Did you know the Safety Harbor Public Library has an online collection of e-books for kids? If not, you’ll have to try TumbleBooks, an animated, talking picture book collection that teaches kids the joy of reading in a format they love. Tumblebooks uses animation, sound, music and narration with existing picture books to produce an electronic picture book which you can read or have read to you. There are even chapter books for young readers beginning to read on their own.
The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of licensed titles from children’s book publishers such as Simon & Schuster, Candlewick Press, Harcourt, Little Brown, and HarperCollins Publishers, among others. And this exciting resource is more than books! There are videos from National Geographic, puzzles and games, language learning and more.
The TumbleBookLibrary collection is available from inside or outside the library on computers and iPads through a direct link on the library’s website. It’s simple.
