Players of Safety Harbor

Players of Safety Harbor set Fall production.

Did you know there is a community theatre group in Safety Harbor?  The Players of Safety Harbor, also known as POSH, was founded in 2004 as a library theatre troupe by former children’s librarian Mary Kay Smith.  Eight years and over 25 youth, teen, and adult productions later, POSH has established itself as a reputable community theatre group in the Heart of Safety Harbor.  Recent POSH productions include The Odd Couple – Female Version and Harvey.

Under the direction of Richard Rosen, the cast is set for October and November productions of The Last Night of Ballyhoo, a Tony and Pulitzer Prize winning comedy, written by Alfred Uhry, of Driving Miss Daisy fame.   Mark your calendars for evening performances, Friday, October 26, Saturday, October 27, and Friday, November 2, at 8:00 pm, with matinees on Sunday, October 28 and November 4, at 2:00 pm.
