Safety Harbor Library Foundation Announces 2013 Chair-ity Fundraiser
Are you artistic? Want to be creative for a great cause? The Safety Harbor Library Foundation announces their Chair-ity Fundraiser!
The Safety Harbor Library Foundation is looking for artists of all ages and anyone creative to donate and decorate a chair of any type for their Chair-ity Fundraiser scheduled for National Library Week in April, in conjunction with the Library’s 75th Birthday celebration.
There is no artist or entry fee. Artists will not be paid for their time or materials, however artists and group names will be promoted and honored at an event in April and noted on the Foundation website where chairs can be viewed prior to the Chair-ity Fundraiser. Group entries are also encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the Most Creative, Staff Favorite, and People’s Choice.

If you are not artistic, but have an old chair to donate, please contact the Foundation to arrange pickup or it can be dropped off at the Library. Artist applications can be found on the Foundation website under the Events tab. Finished chairs are requested to be delivered to the Library by March 28.
