Silent Slayer Ghost Tours will conduct its annual paranormal investigation at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge Rest Area in St. Petersburg on May 9 — the 46th anniversary of the 1980 Sunshine Skyway Bridge disaster. On May 9, 1980, the freighter MV Summit Venture struck the Sunshine Skyway Bridge during a sudden storm, collapsing a section of the bridge and sending 35 people to their deaths. Every year on the anniversary, Silent Slayer returns to the Rest Area to conduct a structured, respectful investigation at a site that has never stopped carrying the weight of that day.
The evening opens with the publicly available Coast Guard transmission recorded in the immediate aftermath of the disaster. Since 2022 Silent Slayer has documented a black orb on camera at this location, spirit box responses consistent with victim names, and firsthand accounts from Rest Area staff of a young boy seen near the restrooms believed to be looking for his mother.

These drop-in classes are designed to help children develop a peaceful, positive state of mind by listening to and applying Buddha’s simple compassionate teachings and meditations. Each week there is a short meditation, a brief interactive lesson, chanted prayers, and a creative activity. We emphasize kindness to others and the cultivation of a happy heart. 
Parents and/or guardians are welcome to attend class with their child or attend our adult Sunday Meditations for World Peace Class that takes place at the same time.

If we want to develop the supreme good heart of bodhichitta, we need to understand the essence of this mind. Thus, it’s helpful to become familiar with the methods Buddha taught to develop this mind. 
In this series, we will look at the sevenfold cause and effect instructions which originated with Buddha Shakyamuni and subsequently passed through Maitreya and Asanga in an unbroken lineage to present day accomplished teachers of Mahayana Buddhism. The sevenfold cause and effect is a method involving the successive development of seven realizations that are a chain of cause and effect leading to the final realization of bodhichitta. 
Each class is self-contained and is suitable for both beginners and more experienced practitioners. Everyone is welcome!

Built in the early 1900s and closed in 1968, the Old Gilchrist County Jail is one of Florida's most preserved historic detention facilities and has drawn serious paranormal investigators from across the country, including a feature on Sam and Colby's YouTube channel. Guests explore the original cell blocks, the sheriff's office, the jailer's quarters, and the dungeon — a small, dark space beneath the stairs that consistently draws the strongest reported activity in the building.
The investigation is led by Cynthia Dominick, founder of Silent Slayer Ghost Tours, and Teppei Namiuchi, paranormal tech specialist who captured the famous black orb at the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Together they bring 25+ pieces of professional equipment. After a full lighted walkthrough the investigation goes dark. What happens from that point depends on the night, the group, and whoever is still present in those cells.
