Frankie Colt is a singer/song writer born and raised in the heart of Naples, Florida. Being the last of seven children, she picked up playing guitar when she was twelve after her older sister had gotten a guitar. Her sister soon became fed up with Frankie stealing and playing her guitar, so Frankie got her own eventually and ever since Frankie has been practicing, writing original music and learni...ng covers. She has been playing guitar and singing for almost ten years now. She has played many benefit concerts and within the years has won three different talent shows. Frankie won the contest for class speaker of the class of 2009 at her high school graduation ceremony. Her original song “Maybe” was an inspirational tune about the future for her and her classmates and to see a clear path ahead. Frankie has also been a big part of the Naples Music scene. She currently hosts several open mics and puts shows together with other great local musicians around town. As of recently, she is playing mandolin backing up Casey Weston and she has played and opened with many of the bigger bands from Naples but also plays her own shows. She is working on an EP Album as of the latest that will hopefully be finished by summer 2012. She hopes to keep writing music, tour and someday soon headline concerts and play festivals.
