Through the generosity of the Friends of the Safety Harbor Library, the Library is pleased to announce the arrival of IndieFlix an online streaming film resource. IndieFlix offers thousands of premier films and award-winning independent movies, shorts and documentaries from around the world, free to Safety Harbor Library members with your library card.
Accessed through the library’s website http://www.safetyharborlibrary.com/, members create an account on IndieFlix with their Safety Harbor Library card number to gain unlimited access to streaming film-festival hits, including the best of Sundance, Cannes, Tribeca, and more. IndieFlix is available on Apple®, Android™, and all Internet-enabled devices. Films can also be watched on your TV with a Roku or Xbox device. Once you create your account, you can enjoy films anywhere and create specific search criteria for the type of film and desired length you want to view!
Join the Library for a demonstration of the new IndieFlix online video streaming service on Thursday, August 1 from 6:00-7:00 pm. Award-winning independent film shorts from around the world will be shown and refreshments will be served.
