Morton Plant Hospital Comprehensive Breast Center Earns 3-Year Reaccreditation
It's now the only NAPBC-accredited breast center in Pinellas County and one of just 18 in the state of Florida.
CLEARWATER, FL — The Comprehensive Breast Center at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater recently earned a three-year reaccreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), making it the only NAPBC accredited breast center in Pinellas County and one of only 18 in the state of Florida.
The reaccreditation recognizes the commitment of the Comprehensive Breast Center’s team to provide the highest quality evaluation and treatment to patients with breast disease.
To earn reaccreditation, Morton Plant’s Comprehensive Breast Center team participated in a rigorous survey process by NAPBC, a program of the American College of Surgeons. The evaluation reviewed its performance and compliance with the NAPBC standards, which include the center’s leadership, clinical services, research, community outreach, professional education, and quality improvement.
