Teens Have Opportunity to Learn Financial Literacy and Job Skills at the Library

Are you a teen that needs a job?  Maybe you're saving for a car, college, or a trip abroad next summer.

There is a great opportunity starting next week at the library to help you find a job and save money for the things you want.   Bank of America and Junior Achievement are partnering with the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative to present Your Career, Your Finances, and YOU! at the Safety Harbor Public Library on Monday, July 22 and Tuesday, July 30 from 5:00- 7:30 pm.

On Monday, July 22 come learn how to prepare for an interview, build a resume, and make a good first impression on a potential employer.  On Tuesday, July 30 learn how to manage the money that you make once you are employed; practice preparing a budget, learn about credit cards and managing your personal finances.  Did we mention it is not only free, but we are having pizza and you might even win a prize for attending?  Who doesn't like pizza and prizes?

Give the library a call at (727) 724-1525 ext. 4112 to sign up or come by the library at 101 2nd Street North and see the Reference Desk.
