1 Dead After Shooting At Venice Bank: Sarasota County Sheriff
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a shooting at a Venice bank Monday morning in which a woman was killed.
SARASOTA, FL – The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a shooting at a Venice bank Monday morning in which a woman was killed.
Just after 9 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting at the BB&T bank at 160 Pointe Loop Drive in Venice.
When they arrived, they found a deceased woman.

According to the Sheriff's Office, this appears to be an isolated incident and all parties are accounted for. There is no danger to the public, deputies said.
The investigation is ongoing.
