Popular Downtown Sarasota Restaurant Closing After 10 Years In Business
A popular downtown Sarasota restaurant that has called Main Street home for 10 years is going out of business.
SARASOTA, FL — A popular downtown Sarasota restaurant is closing by the end of the month after a decade.
In less than two weeks, Element Steak. Seafood. Pasta., at 1413 Main Street, will shut its doors for good on April 26, the restaurant announced in an April 10 video shared on social media.
The goal is to find a new location and reopen by “season 2026,” according to the video.

The modern steakhouse is closing because it’s lost its lease, according to the restaurant’s website.
On its final day in business, April 26, Element will only offer a 10-course tasting menu for $100 per person.

“We love you, Sarasota. We hope to see you in our last two weeks of service,” the social media announcement of its closure reads.
