Shooting At Sarasota Lowe’s Store Injures 1: Sheriff
One person was shot at a Sarasota Lowe's store in "an isolated domestic incident," the sheriff's office said.
SARASOTA, FL — One person is hospitalized and a suspect is in custody after a Tuesday afternoon shooting at the Lowe’s home improvement store at 4020 Central Sarasota Parkway in Sarasota, authorities said.
The shooting was “an isolated domestic incident” and there’s no threat to the public, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
The suspect fled from the area after the shooting. They were found after a short search and taken into custody.

The victim was brought to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with injuries, the sheriff’s office said.
