SARASOTA, FL — Crystal Waters, a nearly three-acre waterfront estate on Siesta Key, is back on the market in Sarasota County for $29,995,000.

The property at 8501 Midnight Pass Road is represented by Kim Ogilvie and Lynn Morris of the Kim Ogilvie Group at Michael Saunders & Company, according to a June 9 announcement.

The estate sits along Little Sarasota Bay and, according to the announcement, remains one of Sarasota County’s largest residential offerings and one of the largest private waterfront estates developed on Siesta Key. The property was completed in 2024 and first drew national attention when it debuted in 2025.

The main residence was designed by Stofft Cooney Architects and custom-built by Chris Jorgensen of Florida West Builders. According to the announcement, the house has 10,267 square feet of living space, five bedrooms, six full baths and two half-baths. The property also includes 217 feet of direct frontage on Little Sarasota Bay.

Additional features listed in the announcement include a guest house, garages, a tennis court and private tennis pavilion, a 56-foot vanishing-edge saltwater pool, and a 90-foot dock with deep-water access and a 20,000-pound boat lift. The company also said a separate beach-access lot across Midnight Pass Road is available, offering a chance to expand the estate.

“Over my 40 years in the luxury real estate business, very few properties have truly stopped me in my tracks. Crystal Waters is one of them,” said Kim Ogilvie. “The level of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and overall presence of this estate is unlike anything I’ve seen in Sarasota. Properties of this caliber are typically associated with markets like Palm Beach or Naples, yet Crystal Waters proves that Sarasota belongs in that conversation. It is a landmark estate; one that combines extraordinary scale, timeless architecture, and meticulous execution in a way that is exceptionally rare.”

The announcement describes the home as Palm Beach-inspired, with dual-gated entrances, Tabby seashell drives and walls of impact glass facing the bay. Interiors were designed by Phoebe and Jim Howard of Atlanta, with custom millwork, Campbell Cabinetry Designs cabinetry, imported stone, European oak flooring and other custom elements.

Outdoor spaces include tropical gardens, waterfront seating, covered entertaining areas and other gathering spaces, according to the announcement. The separate guest residence is described as Old Florida-style. For buyers watching Sarasota’s high-end real estate market, the relisting puts one of Siesta Key’s most prominent bayfront compounds back in play.
