4 Bicyclists In Critical Condition Following Crash On Center Road

SARASOTA, FL -- Four bicyclists are in critical condition after being struck by a car on Center Road west of Rockley Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 10:26 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, the bicyclists were riding in the right eastbound bike lane of Center road when one of the cyclists switched from the right to the left lane in front of an approaching Chevrolet, which was traveling in the left eastbound lane of Center Road. The front of the car struck all four bicyclists.

The four bicyclists (three men and one woman) are currently listed in critical condition at a local hospital.
