Both Drivers Seriously Hurt In Longboat Key Head-On Crash: Sarasota Police

LONGBOAT KEY, FL — A Monday evening head-on crash in Longboat Key sent both drivers to the hospital with serious injuries, the Sarasota Police Department said in a news release.

The crash happened in the 6600 block of Gulf of Mexico Drive around 6:30 p.m.

Sarasota police responded to assist the Longboat Key Police Department with the crash.

Both drivers were taken to Blake Medical Center, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
