Young Tarpon Springs Artists Participate In Water Conservation Contest

In a collaboration between the city of Tarpon Springs and the Pinellas County School District, young artists participated in a post contest titled, "My Tarpon Springs Clean Waters - Stormwater Pollution Prevention."

'FL Stories' Tells Chronological History Of Towns, Cities Through App

A free app that tells Florida history stories about 36 communities across the state is available for residents and visitors. The Florida Stories Walking Tours app has walking tours from Pensacola to Key West.

$5M From Vinik Family To Support Tampa Museum Of Art Education Center

The Tampa Museum of Art has announced that its new education center will be named the Vinik Family Education Center in honor of a $5 million gift made by Jeff and Penny Vinik to the museum's $100 million Centennial Campaign for Renovation and Expansion.

Soul Circus Cowboys To Play Tribute Song, 'Sunshine State' July 4th

Soul Circus Cowboys, a southern rock band led by Brandon native Billy McKnight, is set to release the single "Sunshine State," a tribute to their native Florida, from the new album, "Rolling Across America."
