Benefit Garage Sale This Halloween for United Way Suncoast

Event will help United Way support dozens of nonprofit organizations in DeSoto, Hillsborough, Pinellas and Sarasota counties.

Tampa Bay area bargain hunters might be able to scare up some good deals Halloween Saturday, thanks to employees of the city of Sarasota. They’ll be holding a benefit garage sale for the United Way Suncoast from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday at City Hall, 1565 First Street.

The event will be in the First Street parking lot and the public is invited.

“The garage sale will be a unique opportunity for residents to support the United Way and their agencies such as the Child Protection Center, and Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center. We look forward to having a lot of customers,” said Marlon Brown, Deputy City Manager and United Way Suncoast Board Member.
