Brilliant Harvest installs solar power system for Temple Emanu-El

Panels added to current solar array will offset 70 percent of the temple's annual energy use

Local solar contractor Brilliant Harvest has been contracted by Sarasota synagogue Temple Emanu-El to install 70 solar panels that will generate 24,850 watts of total DC power, producing approximately 37,275 kilowatt hours of electricity per year. This energy output is in addition to the 33,660 watt system that Brilliant Harvest installed for the temple in early 2014; approximately 70 percent of the temple’s energy use will be offset by the expanded solar array.

Once the current project is completed, Temple Emanu-El's solar energy system will be one of the largest in Sarasota County and will allow the temple to enjoy significant annual savings in electrical costs.
